Just got this from the designer and I think it’s wonderful! I had to share. Have a peek:
Now, you don’t just want to see the cover – you want to read the story! So, here’s where I’m at this month: my plan is to finish both FOREVER BOUND and FLASHBACK and publish them both by the end of October. I’m finishing FOREVER BOUND first – Rex doesn’t get to jump line twice – but you can probably plan on seeing both in that last week of October. (I’ll be away at a writers’ retreat and probably won’t be able to get online for a week or so. On the upside, though, I’ll get lots of writing done.)
So, by the end of October, I’ll be finally caught up!
Now tell me – what do you think of the new cover?
Here’s the cover for the First Anthology of the Plume.
This volume includes the first three novellas of the Plume – SUBMISSION, SURRENDER and SEDUCTION. It’ll be available in both a digital and a print (POD) edition. This is the front cover only – the back has thumbnails of the three covers of the included novellas and their summaries.
Since SUBMISSION is part of that promo at Amazon, the anthology will be available digitally at Amazon first. The print edition is not affected by the promotion, according to Amazon, so the print edition will be available as soon as I sign off on the proof. Soon!
Isn’t it pretty?
Both SUBMISSION and SURRENDER have been distributed through Smashwords to B&N, Sony, KOBO, Diesel, Apple and Scrollmotion. It takes time for them to show up in all those places, apparently. Neither book has been shipped yet to KOBO or Sony, for example. They did ship to B&N on October 28, so this morning, I had a peek at B&N to see how we were doing.
Both novellas are listed there for sale, but neither has a cover image (it’s listed as unavailable) and neither has a description. Here they are:
Are my stories and covers too naughty for B&N? Or does this page just take time to populate?
Why would anyone buy a book without being able to see the cover or a blerb about the story?
