What’s Next
I mentioned to you earlier that I had another story to write before starting the Phoenix Series. That story is called Dangerous and I’m having a terrific time writing it.
Dangerous is a dark erotic romance, with bdsm and suspense. It will be published this summer in nine bi-weekly digital installments. When it’s complete, all the installments will be gathered into one volume, which will be available in print and digital in December.
I’ll let you know when I have a start date and more details to share.

A Plan Comes Together
I love it when an idea pulls together, just like it was meant to be.
There will be another series this summer, not the Plume or the Phoenix, but something completely different. I hope to have a cover to show you in the next day or so, and will tell you more then.

btw, I’ve learned something new. My formatter uploads a lot of content directly to Apple, and she said their new rules (from February) require for erotica to have its first category as Fiction-Erotica-General. (These categories mirror BISAC codes, which define the appropriate category for any given work. That tells retailers how to list or shelve books.) Smashwords allows books to have two categories. I’d chosen Fiction-Erotica-General as the second category for Switch, because I didn’t think the order mattered. Maybe it does. I fixed the categories for Switch when she told me that, and have published Celebration with that category first. We’ll see if it turns up in the iTunes store faster as a result. I hope so!
Update!
Phew! You’ll all be glad to know that Celebration is very very close. (I’m certainly glad!) I have to go through the whole story one last time, probably add a bit here and there, then will get it to the formatter on Friday. I’ve asked her to do us all a big favor and turn it around quickly, so fingers crossed that there’s time in her schedule for that.
Right now, it’s looking like Celebration will be about 40,000 words in length. The other Plume novellas have been around 30,000 words, but there were lots of loose ends to tie up on this one. I’ve run out of Post-it notes on my desk, and no characters have whispered in my ear for a few days, so I think we’ve got it all covered.
I’ll let you know when it’s published. It’ll go to all the portals roughly at the same time, but will go live at ARe and Smashwords first (because they have no review process), then Amazon, KOBO and B&N. Apple will bring up the rear, as usual.
Thanks again for your patience and I hope you find the final installment of the Plume Series was worth the wait!
Next up will be the anthology of the last three Plume books, in both print and digital. Look for that in June, as I still need to have a cover designed.
A Tweak
I was reviewing the proof for the print edition of The Wedding Anthology and had a Eureka moment. The ending of Forever Bound had been bothering me a bit and I finally realized what had to be done.
I’ve added about four lines to the end of Forever Bound. That revised edition was uploaded this morning to Amazon and Smashwords. It still has to be approved for premium distribution from Smashwords to other portals. Depending where you bought the book, you’ll either automatically get a notification of the new edition being available or you’ll need to ask for it.
Don’t scroll down if you haven’t read it yet, because there’s a SPOILER ALERT HERE.
Just in case you can’t stand waiting, those lines are:
“You’re just in a hurry to get tied down,” Ryan teased and Jess laughed.
“Maybe I am. Do you have any problems with that?”
“Not one,” he said with finality, then kissed her with a sweet heat that made their friends and family break into loud applause.
They were forever bound, and that sounded exactly right to Jess.

While the blog hop was in progress, this anthology was published. It hasn’t yet been approved for distribution from Smashwords, so will take a few weeks to get to B&N, Apple and KOBO.

Naughty New Year Fantasy
Welcome to The Plume, a private club where members are bound by their desires — and their fantasies come true.
That’s the tagline for my series, set in a private BDSM club called The Plume and featuring the entwined stories of a number of characters. Let’s meet them all quickly.
Thanks to Rex, one of the owners of the club, the Plume is a safe place to explore sexual fantasies. The identities of members are kept secret, and their limits are known to Rex. No one gets hurt and fantasies come true. Everyone has a naughty fantasy – imagine if you could explore it, risking nothing but your own pleasure? That’s Rex’s idea of heaven.
Athena, Rex’s partner and the other owner of the Plume, doesn’t have many limits. She wants to explore pleasure in every way with everyone. She figures out fantasies that members didn’t even realize they had, and makes them come true.
Joanna is the reporter determined to get the inside story on the secretive Plume. The series begins with her determination to write an exposé and her discovery (a surprise to herself) that all this BDSM stuff is pretty exciting. She loves being a submissive. The thing is that Joanna would like to add the emotional element – she’d like to submit to her co-worker Mike, a guy she thinks is hot but a straight arrow.
Mike is a reporter with a shady past. He’s left the world of BDSM behind, hoping to find true love and a life partner. He’s fallen hard for Joanna, but she’s all business all the time. Imagine Mike’s reaction when he discovers that Joanna likes the Plume. Imagine Joanna’s reaction when she realizes Mike knows all these games, and plays them to perfection.
Louise is Joanna’s roommate, an artist whose vision doesn’t pay the bills. Louise is the risk-taker, the one who will try anything once. She thinks Joanna is uptight and is shocked to figure out how much fun her roommate has been having. Louise isn’t one to stand back and miss the fun – she gets herself into the Plume, which doesn’t go down well with Rex or Athena.
The Count was Athena’s first master and a man she thought abandoned in her past. She’s the only one who is surprised when he turns up at the Plume, hoping to rekindle what he insists was true love.
Those are just a few of the characters at the Plume. Wouldn’t you love to visit such a place? Well, here’s my New Year’s Present for you:

Progress
I’ve been having a wonderfully productive month, so thought I’d give you all a little update.
I’m just about finished FOREVER BOUND – that’s #3 in the Wedding anthology – and am hoping to publish it this upcoming weekend. I’ll tell you when it’s been uploaded, as usual, and post the links when they go live.
There will be a Wedding anthology, but I’ll have to format the files (for print and digital) plus get a new cover done. With the holidays coming, that anthology might not be available until the new year.
And yes, then I’ll head back to the Plume for SWITCH.
