Wet and Wild Blog Hop

Wet and Wild Bloghop Button

Welcome to stop #59 on the Wet and Wild Blog Hop!

Water is sensuous. Water feels good and it looks good—and making love in the water can be incredible. Showers are a natural place for intimacy, especially if they’re built for it. The usual tub with a shower requires some creativity and works better in books than in real life. What would be the perfect shower? In my imagination, it’s be big, maybe six feet on a side. That leaves room to play and for more than two people. It would have a bench built in along one wall. It would need more than one overhead shower spray and maybe a few side ones. It would have one glass wall, with a mirror opposite—because eye candy is part of the fun. We’d need thick mat on the floor outside the shower, in case things continued after the hot water tank was run dry. And I’d want a heated floor for those sexy winter mornings.

Hmm. It seems I’m describing a smaller version of the shower at the Plume, a location of interest in Surrender! (Scroll down to see it. It’s the second story in the Plume Series.)

Beaches can be great places to play, too. (I always think of that scene from the movie From Here to Eternity, with Burt Lancaster, when I think of wild activities on the beach.) It’s the sand that troubles me—all that grit can’t be a good thing. Maybe one of those beach cabanas would be better. Sheltered from sun and wind, shady but with the ocean breezes blowing through, maybe located at an isolated location down the beach. A secret world. Hmm. Now I’m thinking of a scene in The Best Man, which takes place in a cabana.

Where’s your favorite place to get wet and wild? Tell me for your chance to win.

  1. It’s been a long time, but one of my favorite places to get wet and wild is in the ocean. The positions may be limited, but the water has a life of it’s own and takes me to another place. (Just remember to watch out for jellyfish because that can ruin the mood in a hurry!) Thank you for the opportunity to win a signed paperback copy of The Wedding Anthology.

  2. Not into being wet(unless in the shower) or wild(stay at home mom of 2 young kids)….waiting til kids get bigger than will play at wet and wild.

  3. Thanks for the link up for the both the free read and the discounted book 🙂 (picked up both)

  4. Hmm I think, my favorite place for getting wet and wild would be whirlpool tubs. Of course, I don’t actually have a whirlpool tub. I have an old ugly green thing that I think was installed in the 70s and it looks like it wants to be left alone, however, I like to pretend that I have a nice whirlpool tub as I read my books and that it would be a most glorious location for wet and wild and that my husband (though I will keep him) would all of a sudden take on the persona of one of the main characters… 😀

Thank you for the chance to enter the giveaway! Have a happy day, week, month, year, decade, and life everyone!
