I have new covers for the Plume series to share with you. I hope you love them as much as I do!
They’ll be rolling out at the various portals by the end of November. If you’ve bought the digital books before, you should be able to download the new edition as an update from your portal of choice.
What do you think?
V – Sold
Athena offers Steele a night of her undivided attention, only to have him startle her with a confession of love. There’s no place for such tender emotions in the dominatrix’s life—just passion and pleasure—or so she thinks until she learns that Steele has chosen to pose as a slave at a rival club’s notorious auction. Athena knows she has to intervene and buy Steele herself, but how much will she risk to ensure his safety? The future of the Phoenix? Her partnership with Rex? Or even herself?
My new-release newsletter is going out tonight, too. Have you subscribed yet? 🙂
As a little holiday bonus for all of you have been naughty this year – or are thinking of being naughty next year – The Plume: The First Anthology is free from today through Saturday at iBooks, KOBO and Smashwords.
It’s 99 cents at Amazon, 99p at Amazon UK, and 99c at Barnes and Noble.
I’m trying an experiment with Kindle Unlimited, which starts today. For February, March and April, the first three of the Plume novellas will be enrolled in KDP Select, which means that you will be able to borrow them if you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited. That’s these books – Submission, Surrender and Seduction.
The Plume: The First Anthology won’t be enrolled, but will only be available from Amazon, because of the guidelines for KDP Select.
I’m hoping to find some new readers – and new fans of Rex! – so would appreciate your help in spreading the word. 🙂
Here’s my Amazon page.

Welcome to the Plume – where members are bound by desire and fantasies come true…
Debts are settled and new beginnings are launched in this culmination of the Plume Series. Joanna and Mike will be getting married, even if Joanna’s newest idea is causing Mike some concern. Rex finds new hope in unexpected places, even before he’s presented with a gift that will both thrill and challenge him in the years ahead.

btw, I’ve learned something new. My formatter uploads a lot of content directly to Apple, and she said their new rules (from February) require for erotica to have its first category as Fiction-Erotica-General. (These categories mirror BISAC codes, which define the appropriate category for any given work. That tells retailers how to list or shelve books.) Smashwords allows books to have two categories. I’d chosen Fiction-Erotica-General as the second category for Switch, because I didn’t think the order mattered. Maybe it does. I fixed the categories for Switch when she told me that, and have published Celebration with that category first. We’ll see if it turns up in the iTunes store faster as a result. I hope so!
Celebration has gone to be formatted for publication. The formatter is ready to jump right on it, so I’m hoping to start publishing it before Monday.
YAY! This novella is almost 45,000 words, so you’ll have a longer read this time.
Stay tuned for links etc. Right now, I’m going to have a glass of wine – why don’t you join me and celebrate, too?
Phew! You’ll all be glad to know that Celebration is very very close. (I’m certainly glad!) I have to go through the whole story one last time, probably add a bit here and there, then will get it to the formatter on Friday. I’ve asked her to do us all a big favor and turn it around quickly, so fingers crossed that there’s time in her schedule for that.
Right now, it’s looking like Celebration will be about 40,000 words in length. The other Plume novellas have been around 30,000 words, but there were lots of loose ends to tie up on this one. I’ve run out of Post-it notes on my desk, and no characters have whispered in my ear for a few days, so I think we’ve got it all covered.
I’ll let you know when it’s published. It’ll go to all the portals roughly at the same time, but will go live at ARe and Smashwords first (because they have no review process), then Amazon, KOBO and B&N. Apple will bring up the rear, as usual.
Thanks again for your patience and I hope you find the final installment of the Plume Series was worth the wait!
Next up will be the anthology of the last three Plume books, in both print and digital. Look for that in June, as I still need to have a cover designed.
Submission is free again! I thought we’d celebrate the end of the series by enticing some new readers to start. The new price was quicker to push through the distribution system than expected. Please share the links with your friends!
Look for a free copy of Submission at Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon CA, Apple and Smashwords.
