I think this new cover is so pretty!
I wasn’t happy with the pricing on my individual stories when they’re published in trade paperback, and it doesn’t look as if you’re very happy with it either. When the books are distributed everywhere, there has to be margin in the price for every step to make some profit and the price ends up being higher. These are only selling at Amazon, though, so I’ve changed the distribution: the individual stories are now available only from Amazon or Createspace, which means the price is lower.
The list price has dropped from $6.99US to $3.99US for Revealed and from $7.99US to $4.99 US on Hunted, Haunted, The Best Man, Always a Bridesmaid and Forever Bound. You’ll see a similar drop in Europe and the UK—the UK price for the majority of these is £3.49 and the EU price is 4.99 euros. (Revealed is a little cheaper yet.)
It’s clear that many of you prefer the anthologies in print, so I’ll get back with my designer to finalize a cover for the first Phoenix anthology. Maybe taking a break from it will have given us a fresh view! 🙂
Welcome to stop #59 on the Wet and Wild Blog Hop!
Water is sensuous. Water feels good and it looks good—and making love in the water can be incredible. Showers are a natural place for intimacy, especially if they’re built for it. The usual tub with a shower requires some creativity and works better in books than in real life. What would be the perfect shower? In my imagination, it’s be big, maybe six feet on a side. That leaves room to play and for more than two people. It would have a bench built in along one wall. It would need more than one overhead shower spray and maybe a few side ones. It would have one glass wall, with a mirror opposite—because eye candy is part of the fun. We’d need thick mat on the floor outside the shower, in case things continued after the hot water tank was run dry. And I’d want a heated floor for those sexy winter mornings.
Hmm. It seems I’m describing a smaller version of the shower at the Plume, a location of interest in Surrender! (Scroll down to see it. It’s the second story in the Plume Series.)
Beaches can be great places to play, too. (I always think of that scene from the movie From Here to Eternity, with Burt Lancaster, when I think of wild activities on the beach.) It’s the sand that troubles me—all that grit can’t be a good thing. Maybe one of those beach cabanas would be better. Sheltered from sun and wind, shady but with the ocean breezes blowing through, maybe located at an isolated location down the beach. A secret world. Hmm. Now I’m thinking of a scene in The Best Man, which takes place in a cabana.
Where’s your favorite place to get wet and wild? Tell me for your chance to win.
What can you win? Well, there’s a big list. Here we go:

This weekend, my book The Wedding Anthology is on sale for just 99 cents. It’s usually $7.99. This anthology includes all three erotic romance novellas in The Wedding series: The Best Man, Always a Bridesmaid and Forever Bound.
The sale only lasts until Wednesday, so don’t miss out!
I was reviewing the proof for the print edition of The Wedding Anthology and had a Eureka moment. The ending of Forever Bound had been bothering me a bit and I finally realized what had to be done.
I’ve added about four lines to the end of Forever Bound. That revised edition was uploaded this morning to Amazon and Smashwords. It still has to be approved for premium distribution from Smashwords to other portals. Depending where you bought the book, you’ll either automatically get a notification of the new edition being available or you’ll need to ask for it.
Don’t scroll down if you haven’t read it yet, because there’s a SPOILER ALERT HERE.
Just in case you can’t stand waiting, those lines are:
“You’re just in a hurry to get tied down,” Ryan teased and Jess laughed.
“Maybe I am. Do you have any problems with that?”
“Not one,” he said with finality, then kissed her with a sweet heat that made their friends and family break into loud applause.
They were forever bound, and that sounded exactly right to Jess.
While the blog hop was in progress, this anthology was published. It hasn’t yet been approved for distribution from Smashwords, so will take a few weeks to get to B&N, Apple and KOBO.
THE WEDDING ANTHOLOGY
All three linked stories (The Best Man, Always a Bridesmaid and Forever Bound) in one volume, available both digitally and in print.
• Available at Amazon.
• Available at Createspace.
• Available at All Romance eBooks.
• Available at Smashwords.
• also available at Barnes&Noble, KOBO, Apple and Sony.
I ended up with a small continuity error in Always A Bridesmaid, after Forever Bound was completed. Essentially, the last scene in AAB has to happen in the afternoon instead of in the evening. I uploaded a new version of the story to Amazon and to Smashwords this morning, and will do the All Romance eBooks update today. Depending on what portal you use, you’ll either automatically get the updated version when it becomes available or will need to request it. I called it version 1.2, but I’m not sure that passes through the entire distribution channel. Or it might be tagged with today’s date. (?)
It will (of course!) be correct in the anthology, both in digital and print.
You are invited to a wedding…
• where a mysterious lover fulfills a secret fantasy – and finds his own dream come true.
• where a disappointed woman finds true love – in the most unlikely of places.
• where the bride and groom have second thoughts – but discover a happy-ever-after beyond their wildest dreams.
* * *
Jessica and Ryan’s engagement seems like a match made in heaven and their island wedding a dream come true. But will Jess’s desire for the perfect wedding – and the stress of everything going wrong – drive them apart? Or can Ryan’s determination to marry the woman he loves save the day?
I’ve been having a wonderfully productive month, so thought I’d give you all a little update.
I’m just about finished FOREVER BOUND – that’s #3 in the Wedding anthology – and am hoping to publish it this upcoming weekend. I’ll tell you when it’s been uploaded, as usual, and post the links when they go live.
There will be a Wedding anthology, but I’ll have to format the files (for print and digital) plus get a new cover done. With the holidays coming, that anthology might not be available until the new year.
And yes, then I’ll head back to the Plume for SWITCH. 🙂
