The Phoenix

Once upon a time, two partners built a wildly successful private club called The Plume, a place where everyΒ  fantasy could safely come true. When The Plume was destroyed and its members scattered, the partners decided not just to begin again but to improve on the original.

Welcome to The Phoenix, an international private club, risen from the ashes of The Plume. Once again, allΒ  fantasies are possible and secret desires can be fulfilled.

The Phoenix is a series of romances set in the world of The Plume. Each book (except Revealed, which is an introduction) features a romance with a happy resolution. Each book also includes more of the continuing story of the characters at the club, like Athena, Rex and Amy. For that reason, it’s a good idea to read them in order. The series is in progress and is planned to be nine books in all, although that’s under review. There will be at least one more, Marked.

Revealed, book one of The Phoenix series of contemporary romances by Ella Ardent Harnessed, book two of The Phoenix series of contemporary romances by Ella Ardent Haunted, book three of The Phoenix series of contemporary romances by Ella Ardent Hunted, book four of The Phoenix series of contemporary romances by Ella Ardent Sold, book five of The Phoenix series of contemporary romances by Ella Ardent Claimed, book six of The Phoenix series of contemporary romances by Ella Ardent

  4. Yes you have made me day I hope there is more about Joanna and mick and all the characters thank youπŸ˜„πŸ˜„

    • LOL – you are all so much fun. Glad to have made you happy – now I have writing to do, because I hope to have another surprise for you before the fall.

No telling until I’m sure. πŸ™‚

  5. Just got to the part in Celebration where Athena talks to Rex about The Phoenix. Now I understand. Looking forward to it !

  6. Exciting!!! I can’t wait to read what’s coming next! I’m planning to re-read the wedding series next – and can’t wait to hear what else you have planned!

  7. Ahhhh I just saw the release date! I must go lay down now till the fall of 2013! Bless our book club souls! Now what to read!? Meh!

  8. Shelley and I are both in the same book club. I am dying to see the continuation of the Plume Series with the new series The Phoenix. I actually come across your book on Amazon. They had submission as one of their free books and I fell in lust with it. I in turn told her about it and the news traveled like wild fire. It is up there with so many other books I love. I am hoping for the continuation to come quickly because it is like a drug to the mind. I picked it up and could not sit it down. I intend fully to read the whole series again a couple more times and hopefully the next installment will be ready by the time I finish. I am keeping my fingers crossed. May I ask if you will be continuing the story line of Rex, Joanna, Athena, Julius, and Louise into the Phoenix series? And lets not forget Eric and Amy…

    • Thanks Sheila. I’m so glad you enjoyed the series.

I’m thinking that the characters from the Plume will make cameo appearances in the Phoenix Series. We met Tiffany very briefly at the end of Celebration and the first Phoenix story is hers. Rex has already appeared on the scene there, too. In a way, I’m waiting to find out what the characters do – they’re all opinionated enough to tell me!

I have another project in the works that will (fingers crossed) come out this summer. I’ll tell you all more when more of it is done – but I’ve already ordered a cover!

  9. Ella much as I love your books and can’t wait for the next one, please ladies, we have had a really wicked winter here this year. Can we not wish summer away so we can have the next book. I really need some sun, heat and bright skies before it turns cold and miserable again.

Ella, I will still be waiting anxiously for the Phoenix in the Fall.

  10. Omg!!!!!! I only just saw this now!!!!!! I CAN’T wait! I was SO sad when I though that was the end of the Plume/ Phoenix! I’m so excited! This should be really good! I was left with a heavy heart and in awe when I finished celebration. I could see the whole party unfold before my eyes. Story line is inspiring as well. Thank you for killing my boredom! though reading your books have seemed like a drug, I’ve been told i go to another wold when i read the Plume, truth is I do! Fall seems too far away! I can’t wait.

  11. I just finished Celebration, i loved the whole series do glad you r going to continue with thrh Phoenix cant wait.

  12. YAY! I finally found time to read The Plume 3rd Anthology!! I was sooo bummed to see this series come to an end and hoped you’d continue with The Phoenix (which I’m sure is going to be very yummy with all the dif fantasies!!)!! I can’t WAIT for fall to get here now!! πŸ™‚

  13. Ella I loved your books, I read them all this summer from the Plume series kept me up late couldn’t put them down i guess ill catch up on sleep now till the phoenix series comes out thank you so much for keeping them so interesting and the way to spice things up throwing rex a curve ball !!! love love love them !!!

  14. Ella, the plume series was my favorite erotic series that I’ve ever read. And I’ve got over 5,000 books on my kindle. I am so ecstatic for the Phoenix books to come out. I just finished celebration, and was bummed to be unsure of the continuation. But I’m bouncing off the walls with anticipation. Thanks so much!!!!

  15. I ran across Submission about a year ago but lost it in my library on my kindle. About a week ago I ran across it and read thru it on my lunch break…very bad idea! Lol. When I got home I bought each anthology and just finished the third. I am so pleased to see that you have more books out there but am fairly certain I may combust as I wait for the Phoenix! I look forward to the sizzling scenes and HEA storylines you weave them into.

    • They’re not published yet, Aeisha. I’m hoping to launch the series in May – the publication date was pushed back because Dangerous ended up twice as long as I expected. I wish I could write faster!

      • It’s fine πŸ™‚ it’s just, it’s like having a chocolate bar beside you but you can’t eat it till after dinner! I’ve waited this long, it will just be all the more worth while when their done!
Thank you Ella πŸ™‚ I love your books! Xxx

    • Hi Barbara – Revealed, book #1 of the Phoenix, will be published May 15. It’ll be available for pre-order from Smashwords this weekend and hopefully from Apple and KOBO sometime next week. It’ll be published at Amazon and B&N on the 15th.

  16. OMG just saw the release date I have never been this excited. It’s great thank you ella you just made my evening

  17. hello Ella I just finished the Revealed and Harnessed So good now just to wait for book 3 the Hunted πŸ™‚ love your books !

  18. when is the third book of the phoenix out, getting so impatient lol, but always am with your books, tell myself i’ll wait for the anthology but never can, always end up buying both the single editions plus the anthology’s when they come out, so love your books Ella

    • Hi Sacha –

Yes, the Phoenix novellas will be gathered into collections for both print and digital. Each collection will have three novellas in it.

I had thought originally that Revealed would be very short, so that the first collection would include it as well as Harnessed, Hunted and Haunted. But it wasn’t short πŸ™‚ so now it will be published with Harnessed and Hunted. My designer is working on a cover, and we’re getting close. I’m hoping to list it soon for pre-order for November.

The print editions sell pretty well, so you’re not the only one who likes a print copy!

  19. I thought there was a release due in early April(2016), I was going to pre-order on Ibooks but it’s not there. Is there a book due in April?

  20. I know circumstances sometimes hinder us from doing things we have promised, but a lot of your readers have been left really disappointed with the promise of book releases on April 15 and July 15…especially when we paid for the first 4 instalments but have been left fairly deflated.

    • Hi everyone – I’m very excited to tell you that I’m writing again, and that both Sold and Claimed are now up for pre-order and release. Sold is done, but being edited etc. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding!

  21. i am hopeul and have to guess that stressing you about this only makes it harder so step back take abreath and know
we are behind you and can wait as hard as it is

    • Thanks Barbara for your understanding. You were right. It turned out that stepping away and not thinking about the stories was the right solution. I was thinking about Sold the wrong way, and once I figured that out, I was off and writing again. I’m so happy to be writing again!

  22. Ella I’m in love with how you write. The detail in your books is amazing. I just finished the Plume series and was about to be despondent when I realized you had continued with the Phoenix series. I just finished the second book and I’m about to begin the third. Please don’t stop writing I’m am loving your series!!!!!!

    • Thanks Randi! I’m glad you’re enjoying the books. I don’t plan to stop writing. I had to take a break last year because I was pushing myself to write too fast. Now that I’ve slowed down a bit, I feel like I can go forever. πŸ™‚

      • Ella I’m glad you have slowed down and aren’t pushing yourself so hard. I’d love to know where you have gotten inspiration to write this series from? Are you yourself in the lifestyle?? If that’s too personal to answer just tell me you would prefer to not discuss that. The details are so amazing Ella.
Anyway I can’t wait till the next book is out. So when will it be coming out???

      • Hi Randi. I prefer to be private about my own choices. πŸ™‚

I’m hoping that Marked will be out this summer, but we’ll see. The collaboration with Her Dark Prince and the rest of that series is taking a little more time than expected, as is the job of publishing new editions at Apple and Kobo. Just to add to the complication, I have a new idea that just won’t leave me alone. I’ll keep you all posted!

  23. Ella,
I found your books over the weekend and fell in love with your world of The Plume and Phoenix. I finished all the Plume and Phoenix books available at B&N as well as Dangerous and am so looking forward to Marked; but as is repeated in your stories sometimes one must wait for the reward. So here I wait bound with desire for the mistress of the Phoenix to reward my patience. May your muse continue to feed your creativity so that we may experience more of the pleasures you offer.
Until then I remain humbly your reader and continue on with your other books.

    • Thanks, Elise. I’m so glad you enjoyed the books that are published so far. I have His Lost Princess in the works (November), and the second collection of the Phoenix (September) and am hoping to have Marked available soon. (Amy gives me trouble, as well as everyone else.) I also have been challenged by my local writers’ group and hope to have a little surprise for you soon. You’re running out of books, I see, so I’d better get busy. πŸ™‚

  24. You as an author have done a wonderful job at captivating your audience. I am starting the Phoenix series. Everyone has fantasies, that they will or will not admit. Some scenarios where predictable but still were enjoyable. I do recommend these series for others to read! Well done Ella Ardent, I can’t wait to read the Phoenix series. Thank you for enticingly uplifting our own fantasies!
